CIS 116 Operating Systems		"LINUX for Programmers and Users" by Graham Glass & King Ables 2006 Pearson Education, ISBN 0-13-185748-7 You may also wish to download the Redhat 9.0 ISO files from Redhat.com or a mirror site Buffalo Mirror site. You will need the three i386 images. After downloading you should create CDROMS. (You may use any version of Redhat linux 7.0 and newer for this course. Fedora works well too, although there may be a few differences.)

'All-In-One A+ Certification Exam Guide' by Michael Meyers 6th ed 2007 McGraw-Hill/Osborne Book and CD set. ISBN 0-07-2263311-3 Make sure to get the 6th edition instead of the 5th, because it has a more up to date practice exam CD.

ISBN: 0321530195 / ISBN 13: 978-0321530196 NOTE: This book goes beyond what we will be covering. The 2nd and 3rd editions are also fine for this class! (I actually like the 2nd edition the best but it's no longer published). Get the one you can afford.
