PREPARING FOR REGISTRATION

 

Students who have been accepted to the College and are Matriculated into a Program of Study, must meet with an Academic Advisor to assist in the preparation and registration of a course schedule for the upcoming semester.

 

Prior to Registration, matriculated students are encouraged to do the following:

q  Review their intended Program of Study in the College Catalog for curriculum and course requirements.

q  Review the Schedule of Classes for the Semester.

q  Create a tentative schedule utilizing:

o    Results of Entering Student Assessment Test

o    Course requirements

o    Semester Schedule of Classes

o    Student’s own personal and work related commitments.

q  Gather immunization records. Required by New York State Law.

q  Make arrangements for payment:

o    Make payment via check, cash, money order or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover)

o    Apply for financial aid

o    The tuiTionpayTM plan A tuition management plan that provides you with a low cost option for budgeting tuition. A $35.00 nonrefundable enrollment fee is required. Additional information is available online at www.sunyulster.edu or by calling the Student Accounts Office at (845) 687-5099.

Once you have registered, you have incurred a financial obligation to the College.
